Goldie Hawn

Goldie Hawn is one of the most recognizable actors of our times. With an incredible career that began in the late 1960's and continues into the new century, Goldie Hawn has been cast in many movies, in all different roles. From bit parts to lead roles, Goldie Hawn has won hearts in each of her roles, no matter the subject matter.

Born the daughter of a band musician in Washington D.C., Goldie Hawn took to the stage early. At the age of three years old, she was taking ballet lessons and by the age of ten, had performed in a ballet version of The Nutcracker. Goldie Hawn wasted little time before embarking on her film and television career. Her first role came in 1967, as the girl friend of a disc jockey. Her next role was to win her national and international acclaim, on the set of Laugh-In. While on the show, Goldie won the hearts of viewers, as well as becoming an icon of the times.

Goldie Hawn's film career continued to skyrocket after Laugh-In, with an Academy Award winning performance in Cactus Flower, playing next to the likes of Walter Matthau. From that point, Goldie Hawn's film career never really slowed down, as she remained an incredibly popular actor for the better part of the next two decades. In the early 1990's, she experienced a brief slump in her career, though it was revived with the hit movie, Death Becomes Her.

Goldie Hawn has been married twice and is currently involved with her long time partner and co-star, Kurt Russell. Currently, Goldie is a grandmother two times over, with a grandson each from her daughter Kate Hudson and her son Oliver Hudson. Goldie and Kurt also have a son together who lives in Canada and recently entered college.
